Coach's Corner

I'm a big hockey fan, and I'm Canadian. Everybody who has those two traits probably knows Coach's Corner, and knows the dynamics between these two guys (Ron Mclean and Don Cherry).
I decided to make this as a gift for the show. My secret ambition is to see if I can get it on the air! Keep your eyes peeled!

Anyway, this is probably the most rendered I've made any of my illustrations. It felt monotonous at times, but the end result does look very finished. I think it's appropriate for this piece. I went through the full gamut on this...from thumbnails, to colour comps, to likeness studies, to final painting. I probably dumped about 15 hours into it, give or take.
